Flashback Friday: Martin Brodeur Scores Second Career Goal Against Flyers
By Kristin Tullo (@K_Tullo)
On February 15, 2000 Martin Brodeur scored his second career goal and the first ever game-winner by a goaltender in the National Hockey League.
Philadelphia Flyers forward, Daymond Langkow, misplayed the puck which would result in a Devils goal during a delayed penalty call. Brodeur was the last Devil on the ice to play to touch the puck, giving him his first regular-season goal and second of his career. The Devils would go on to win the game, 4-2.
Somehow there is no good video of the goal by Brodeur, so let’s just watch this together instead.
