‘MERICA: Team USA Opening Ceremony Outfit: Who wore it better?
There is a lot going on in the world but probably not as much as what’s happening on the sweater that the 2014 Sochi Olympic Athlete’s will be wearing at this year’s opening ceremony, which is just two weeks away.
The outfits designed by Ralph Lauren- who has been the official outfitter for the U.S. Olympics for four years- were unveiled this morning on the Today show and if nothing else, they are certainly patriotic. Especially since they were actually made in the USA this time around.
The price to own one of these outfits is high, ranging from a $75 belt to the $598 for the sweater that pulls it all together, but all of the proceeds of the Limited Edition Team USA Opening Ceremony cardigan’s will be donated to the U.S. Olympic Committee.
Now, it’s hard to not pull off an outfit that consists of a turtleneck, a patchwork sweater, sweatpants you would only wear to the mailbox and a pair of leather boots, but Zach Parise and Julie Chu really look stunning in their photos. So tell us, who wore it better?
We know it wasn’t this crew:
By the way, since when is Carson Daly on the Today show?
