As the Philadelphia Flyers season wrapped up disappointingly early this year, the team’s front office has had ample time to concentrate on adding personnel. On Saturday they hit the college hockey free agent market, in hopes of shoring up their goaltending for the future.

Philadelphia came to terms with 24 year-old goalie Carsen Chubak on an AHL contract (as confirmed by Bill Meltzer). Chubak spent the past three seasons with the Niagara University Purple Eagles of the Atlantic Hockey division. In 35 games in 2013 he boasted a 1.91 GAA (eighth best in the NCAA) and a save percentage of .939 (fourth best in the NCAA) while helping the Purple Eagles land the top spot in Atlantic Hockey. And for his strong play, the honors came pouring in for the Saskatchewan native.

He was named the Atlantic Hockey Association’s player of the year, and was a top ten finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, which is given to the NCAA’s top hockey performer each season.

But his road to professional hockey was not an easy one, as detailed by a Buffalonews.com article from this past November. Chubak was slated as Niagara’s number one goalie his freshman year, but suffered a knee injury after just nine games. After rehabbing for nine months, he would need surgery for a hip injury.

His college coach Dave Burkholder had this to say about him:

He is so athletic that he’ll come up with that [Dominik] Hasek-like save where everyone in the building is in shock. Because he’s not blessed with that 6-2, 6-3 frame, he’s at the top of the crease and uses athleticism and quickness, and his rebound control is phenomenal. I’m amazed in practice at how good this kid is.

Listed at just 5’11″, 170 lbs., he certainly lacks ideal size at his position. However, Justin Goldman, director of goalie scouting for McKeen’s Hockey had nothing but positive things to say about him in a recap of a matchup vs. University of North Dakota in late March:

Super-athletic and with a propensity for the flashy, acrobatic save, Chubak is a high-energy goalie with an extremely high level of compete in the crease. His movements are explosive, he’s very aggressive with his angles and positioning, and he’s never out of a play.

Because of his gifted mobility and footwork, he really excelled at covering loose pucks in the crease. He pounced on them with visible speed, and due to his small frame and condensed stance, he sealed the ice extremely well. Even when North Dakota tried to snipe him under the bar, Chubak fended off shots with his shoulder, arms, and gloves.

Chubak single-handedly put Niagara in place for the upset. Time and time again, no matter who had the scoring chance for North Dakota, Carsen had an answer. Technically sound on initial shots, when he did give up a rebound, his mobility gave him the edge needed to get pieces of second chances. Whether he had to dive on his side or lunge out to take away time and space from an elevated shot, he simply found a way to make the save.

You can check out some of Chubak’s highlights below:

While the Philadelphia Flyers are expected to be sellers at the deadline, the team desperately needed depth at Defensemen. With Braydon Coburn and Andrej Meszaros out for the year, Philadelphia has acquired Kent Huskins from the Detroit Red Wings. The compensation is a conditional 7th round draft pick in 2014.

The 33 year old Huskins was without a team until after the end of the lockout, signing with Detroit three days after the season started. In 11 games with the team he recorded zero points and four PIM. He also spent two games with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL, in which he recorded one assist. But Huskins may not necessarily be game ready, as he has not played since a February 24th affair versus the Vancouver Canucks.

If Huskins has anything going for him, it’s that he’s listed at 6’2″, 205 lbs., and can be somewhat imposing physically.

Unable to shake shoulder injuries, Meszaros tore his rotator cuff on March 26th against the New York Rangers, prompting a callup of Erik Gustafsson. But the injuries kept coming for Philadelphia, who lost Coburn for the year with a separated shoulder after a hit from the New York Islanders Matt Moulson. In his place, the team called up 24 year-old Oliver Lauridsen, who has spent his entire pro career with the Adirondack Phantoms.

As the NCAA hockey season begins to wrap up, many college prospects are on the hunt for NHL teams to call home. In Kyle Flanagan‘s case, the Philadelphia Flyers were more than happy to oblige. According to TSN’s Bob McKenzie, Philadelphia has come to terms with Flanagan, who spent the last four years at St. Lawrence Unviersity.

Flanagan compiled 29 goals and 65 assists over the course of 117 games, and put up a career high in all major stat categories this past season. He was certainly a valued member of SLU’s hockey team, as the team named him captain before the start of his junior season. Flanagan’s former head coach at St. Lawrence, Greg Carvel, had nothing but positive things to say about him:

Kyle is a very impressive hockey player. He has NHL ability. He is undersized, but with his hockey ability and hockey sense, he’s the complete package. He can score points and is defensively responsible.

He also happens to be 24 years old, but GM Paul Holmgren seems to do quite well with older college free agents. You may recall a one Matthew Read, who signed with the Flyers at age 24 as an undrafted free agent from Bemidji State University. Not all turnout to have the same success as Read is currently having in Philadelphia, but with attention garnering moves like this one versus Alabama-Huntsville, Flanagan could be a solid pro player.

He’ll report to Adirondack on Friday on an amateur tryout, and will be on a one year NHL contract next season.

Furthermore, Philadelphia has expressed interest in another college free agent: 6-foot-8 defenseman Andrej Sustr. Sustr spent the past three years at the University of Nebraska-Omaha (formerly the college of Flyers prospect Anthony Stolarz), and was one of the prominent defensemen in the college ranks. But Philadelphia is not alone in their pursuit of the 22 year old, as a reported 20-25 teams are hopeful to acquire his services.

By Ryan Holmer (@RyanHolmerNHL)

As we approach the trade deadline, the Calgary Flames and Jay Feaster are closer than ever to an actual fire sale. Trade rumours have begun to run wild, and hockey ‘insiders’ everywhere are listing prices for players, and if they’re available or not. Feaster – while he hasn’t made any moves yet, is certainly beginning to see the light.

When talking to Flames fans this season, the level of frustration appears to have hit an all-time high. Several fans have started hoping that Calgary loses, so that Jay Feaster realizes that there is an issue with the current roster, and finally takes off his blindfold. The Flame’s have been a tease this season. They play well for a few games, and everyone gets excited. The next game, they lose in terrible fashion, and go on a three game skid. It’s been a bumpy season, and the inconsistency is a real issue.

Aside from the terrible statistical season, Calgary has seen some good signs. Mikael Backlund, although he’s been plagued with injuries, is having a good season. He has regained his swagger and is looking like that skilled, playmaking centre that the Flames were hoping for. TJ Brodie is also playing quite good this season, and is starting to grow into a very solid defenseman.

Another glimmer of light for those devoted fans, is that several key insiders are beginning to actually list prices for players on the roster. This has never happened before, and begs the question of, just how serious these discussions are. Key names being brought up in discussion are Jay Bouwmeester, and Jarome Iginla. Jay Bouwmeester has been linked to Philadelphia, with quite a high price. It’s unlikely he moves anywhere, unless Jay Feaster lowers the price, or is willing to eat some of his salary.

Jarome Iginla, the Flames captain is a name that we will be hearing a lot about over the next coming week, as we approach the trade deadline. He is still a top six forward, with good offensive abilities, great leadership and is willing to drop the gloves if needed. He would be a key asset to any team with hopes of going for a playoff run. The price has been speculated by many, and it’s believed to be a draft pick, a top four defenseman, and a roster player. It’s a steep price, but given Iginla’s track record, and his ability to put a team over the top, it is fair. Iginla does have an NTC, and will ultimately be the final decision maker, he’s a class act and will do anything to help his team, short or long-term.

Other names being thrown around are ; Alex Tanguay, Curtis Glencross, Miikka Kiprusoff, and Lee Stempniak.

Don’t expect anything to be done right away. This three-game road trip is going to be a big indicator of where the team is heading. If Calgary loses even two if it’s games, look for something to be done. After the loss last night in Dallas, Calgary is heading to Nashville, and then Columbus. While Nashville and Columbus certainly aren’t the best teams, they aren’t the worst, and are both ahead of Calgary in the standings. If Calgary can’t win both of those games, you can imagine that Feaster will be steaming, and the Flames may indeed start to burn.

The beginning of a Jarome-less era may indeed be approaching. You can look at it, and be happy for Iginla that he may finally get to hold the Stanley Cup, and the Flames may actually begin rebuild their youth.

By Kristin Tullo (@K_Tullo)

Four points ahead of the 11th place Philadelphia Flyers, the New Jersey Devils will look to gain more ground on their Atlantic Division rival when they host the Flyers for the third and final time this year and begin their fourth home-and-home series of the season.

Winning two out of their last three games, the Devils will look for their first back-to-back wins since a five-game win streak in early February against a Flyers team that is also looking for consecutive wins after defeating Buffalo to end a three-game losing skid. Dropping only two games in regulation so far within the Atlantic Division (7-2-1), the Devils are looking to find consistency following a losing streak that stretched from February 23- March 5th. Johan Hedberg (4-7-2) will make his 10th consecutive start for the Devils and has yet to post back-to-back wins in his time as the starting goalie while Martin Brodeur remains on the IR.

Leading the Devils in their head-to-head series with the Flyers is Ilya Kovalchuk who has one goal and four assists in their first two meetings. Tied with David Clarkson for a team-high six-game point streak, a point tonight for the Russian winger would extend his current four-game streak in which he has two goals and three assists.

Also hot for the Devils has been Ryan Carter who has five points in his last six since returning to the lineup following a concussion. Defenseman Anton Volchenkov has two assists in as many games and is two away from 100 in his NHL career.

The Flyers are currently three points behind the New York Rangers who hold onto the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. With eight points at stake in the next two games for these teams, David Strehle of The Fourth Period reported earlier this week that Flyers’ left wing,Simon Gagne, called these games “maybe the biggest games of the season.” Gagne, who was re-acquired by the Flyers on February 26th, will face the Devils for the first time since Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals when he was a member of the Los Angeles Kings.

The stage is set for 7:30pm on NBC Sports Network. You can also listen to it on Sports Radio 660 WFAN & FM 101.9. Limited amount of tickets still available.

Game Notes:

- Harri Pesonen was recalled from the Albany Devils (AHL) on March 12th and is looking to make his NHL debut tonight. If Pesonen plays, he will be the third Devils’ player to play his first NHL game in their last four games (Keith Kinkaid vs Tampa Bay, Jeff Frazee vs Carolina Hurricanes)

- Claude Girouxd has 21-points (6-15-21) in 21 career games against New Jersey.
- The game tonight will be the first of three division games in the next four games for New Jersey. They are 7-1-2 when playing within the Atlantic Division.

On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Flyers made a minor trade involving their AHL affiliate. The Adirondack Phantoms announced via their website that they traded forward Matt Ford to the Columbus Blue Jackets. The deal is for future considerations.

Ford was acquired on February 2nd, 2012, from the Washington Capitals in exchange for Flyers former 2nd round pick Kevin Marshall. Ford had spent just half a season with the Capitals, and the three previous seasons with the Colorado Avalanche affiliate, Lake Erie Monsters.

But the 28 year old took Adirondack by storm, putting up 31 points in 31 games. However, he showed serious offensive stagnancy in the 2012-13 season, scoring just four goals and contributing nine assists in 35 games.

Ford will be assigned to the Springfield Falcons when he joins the team. He’ll see his former team two times, both in Adirondack when the Falcons head up to New York in April.

Credit the Flyers for getting anything for a player who is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, and one who has played somewhat poorly. Furthermore, the trade brings the Flyers down to 48 contacts, leaving them with two slots open. The deal seems minute now, but could be of great importance when the trade deadline rolls around.

By Jake Pavorsky (@JakePavorsky)

It was a slow first period at the Wells Fargo Center, something the Philadelphia Flyers were well used to this season. Neither Philadelphia nor their opponent for that evening, the Toronto Maple Leafs, could get anything generated offensively, leaving the fans somewhat restless. Naturally, head coach Peter Laviolette called upon his 4th line to get some energy flowing in the building.

Center Zac Rinaldo was more than willing to step up to the task.

After laying a hit on David Steckel against the boards, Rinaldo was hit with a swift crosscheck from the Leafs Mike Brown, taking him off his skates. As he went to get up, he was met with another crosscheck, placing him on his backside. So when Mike Brown asked “You wanna go Rinaldo?”, it seemed like an easy invitation for him to do what he did best. Instead, he flipped the script on the Leafs agitator. With a chuckle, a composed Rinaldo skated towards Brown, stuck his finger out towards the opposite end of the ice and hollered “In the box, b—-.” While he made his way back to the Flyers bench, Brown received a first class escort to the penalty box. Two minutes, roughing, and the crowd roared as the Flyers were going on the famous “Peeeeeeeeeeeccccccccooooooo Powerplay”.

It was a job well done for the new and improved Zac Rinaldo.

Just a year ago, he would’ve found himself in the adjacent penalty box.

The 22 year old Ontario native was never one to back down from a fight. In 2010, he racked up 331 penalty minutes with the Adirondack Phantoms; 140 of those minutes being fighting majors. In fact, it was his ability to drop the gloves, as well as his aggressive temperament that made him worthy of the Flyers 6th round pick in 2008. To him, there was no hit he couldn’t make, and no opponent whose face wasn’t perfectly suitable for his fist. Todd Cordell, who watched him during his time with the Barrie Colts saw exactly what the Flyers organization did. “He seemed more concerned with laying a guy out than scoring a goal or creating offensive chances” Cordell said. “His main goal was to hit and fight as many people as possible.”

In hockey, the role of an enforcer is as important as any other on the ices. It’s his duty to be the quintessential “bodyguard” for his respective team’s superstar, deliver bone crushing hits, and of course, fight when called upon. But when reckless, an enforcer can be more of a hindrance to a team than anything else. During the 2011-12 season, Zac Rinaldo was hurting the team more than he was helping. In a league where enforcers are a dime a dozen, the young Rinaldo knew he had to make an impact to secure a spot on the roster. Because of that, teams were able to target the rambunctious Rinaldo into taking bad penalties with relative ease. Any player who came after him, he would return the favor two fold, which typically landed him in the penalty box, and tiptoeing the line of legal hits with the league office. In 66 games with Philadelphia that year, he had 232 PIM in the regular season, and 48 PIM in just 5 playoff games.

Coming into the 2013 season, it was clear what Rinaldo had to do: mature. He’s did just that. Rinaldo still displayed the same high octane energy as he had the previous year, but with a new understanding of his role in the Flyers organization. His job isn’t just to be a physically imposing player, looking to send an opponent into oblivion with a check, but to create opportunities for the top 9 forwards that they couldn’t do themselves by drawing penalties. The old Zac Rinaldo would’ve tried to exact revenge by any means after being on the receiving end of an illegal hit. The new Zac Rinaldo thinks twice. The old Zac Rinaldo was a street fighter on a pair of skates. The new Zac Rinaldo is a hockey player. Of course, he still fights when need be, and still lays down hits that send chills down your spine, but each move he makes is a calculated decision in which he thinks of its consequences. The old Zac Rinaldo played without thought. The new Zac Rinaldo is a mad genius.

In 2011, Rinaldo promised he was more than just a one dimensional fighter. He’s finally showing what he really is in 2013: an enforcer.

Fear Zac Rinaldo, not for what he’ll do to you, but what he’ll make you do to him.

By Jake Pavorsky (@JakePavorsky)

For the Philadelphia Flyers front office, they’ve found themselves quite busy on this here Friday afternoon. While the moves may not be a part of a blockbuster trade that so many are accustomed to seeing from this organization, Philadelphia will see a bit of a roster shakeup.

On Thursday morning, the team put forward Tom Sestito and goalie Michael Leighton on waivers to send them down to the team’s AHL affiliate, Adirondack Phantoms. And while the team expected to retain both, another NHL team was intrigued by the 25 year-old forward. The Vancouver Canucks claimed Sestito before he passed through waivers, forcing him to take his talents to the great white north. Despite being injured in a “conditioning assignment” with the Phantoms earlier in the week, his agent, Scott Norton, has said that Sestito has been cleared to play.

Acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets midway through the 2010-11 season, he spent just 21 total games with the Flyers. In 7 games with the team this season, he recorded 2 goals, both coming in a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Well known for being an enforcer, Sestito has shown flashes that he can be an everyday 4th line player.

While the loss certainly hurts for Philadelphia, the maturation of Zac Rinaldo lessens the blow a bit. Rinaldo, who has played 19 games this year, has improved leaps and bounds in his puck handling, as well as his ability to draw penalties.

Michael Leighton did clear through waivers, and was assigned to the Phantoms. He injured his finger during an optional team practice on February 8th, and has not played since. He appeared in just one game this year.

In other news, the Flyers signed prospects Anthony Stolarz and Brandon Alderson to entry level contracts that will begin next year. Stolarz, a goalie from Patterson, New Jersey, was the Flyers 2nd round pick in the 2012. Despite starting the season with the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Stolarz left the institution and signed with the London Knights of the OHL in January. The 19 year old was able to win the starting job from Jake Patterson, and hasn’t looked back. In 14 games played, he has amassed a record of 9-2-1, with a GAA of 2.17, and one shutout. Alderson was a free agent prior to inking a deal with Philadelphia. After spending two seasons with the Sarnia Sting, Alderson has spent been with the Soo Greyhounds since 2011. The Hockey Guys’ own Todd Cordell has a scouting report on Alderson:

He has 25 goals and 57 points this year, and a goal differential of +20. Alderson can play power play, penalty kill, is versatile and can play anywhere and any role in the top-9. He’s a good skater and can hit. Also, Alderson has good chemistry with Flyers prospect Nick Cousins. They have worked well together in Soo.

Earlier in the week, the Flyers made another addition to their farm system by making a trade with the Calgary Flames. Philadelphia swapped RW Mike Testwuide for C Mitch Wahl. Wahl was the 48th overall pick in the 2008 draft, and has spent most of his career in the ECHL. In 45 games with the Flames ECHL affiliate Utah Grizzlies, the 23 year old has 19 goals and 40 assists. After completion of the trade, he was immediately assigned to the Phantoms.

In a very unexpected move, the Philadelphia Flyers have brought a former fan favorite home. The team has announced via their website that they have traded for LW Simon Gagne, in exchange for a conditional 4th round pick originally acquired from Phoenix.

When asked about the deal, GM Paul Holmgren seemed quite happy to bring Gagne back to the city of brotherly love.

“Simon is an experienced veteran who will help us in a lot of areas,” Holmgren said in making the announcement. ”We are glad to have him back.”

Drafted by Philadelphia with the 22nd overall pick in 1998, Gagne spent 10 seasons with the Flyers organization, and was a key part of the team’s corps, which included Keith Primeau, Jeremy Roenick, and Peter Forsberg, among others. In 727 games donning a Flyers sweater, he scored 259 goals and added 524 assists.

Over the course of his stint in Philadelphia, Gagne led the team in goals on three occasions (2001-02, 2005-06 & 2006-07) and twice in points (2005-06 & 2006-07). He has also been recipient of the Bobby Clarke Trophy, as the team MVP, on two occasions (2005-06 & 2006-07), while also being named to the mid-season NHL All-Star game twice (2000-01 & 2006-07).

In 90 career Stanley Cup Playoff games with the Flyers, he recorded 32 goals and 15 assists for 47 points, ranking eighth all-time in Flyers playoff history in goals (32) and tied for seventh in game-winning goals (6).

One of his more notable performances came in the 2010 playoffs, when the soon to be 33 year old scored the game winning goal in game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals versus the Boston Bruins, and the series winning goal in game 7.

He was traded that offseason to the Tampa Bay Lightning for Matt Walker, and a 4th round pick, effectively ending one of the most successful tenures a Flyer has ever had. He would collect 40 points in 63 games with Tampa Bay, and added 12 points in the Lightning 2010-11 playoff run.

In the summer of 2011, Gagne signed a two year deal with the Los Angeles Kings, but a concussion limited him to just 34 games that year. Through 11 games this season, the Quebec native has recorded 5 assists and has a goal differential of +2. His knack for finding the back of the net may not be as strong as it was in his career year of 2005, but he brings a veteran presence to a locker room that could use an extra leader.

In a teleconference with reporters, an upbeat Gagne says he plans to play Wednesday night.

The Gagne trade places the Flyers now at a maximum of 50 contracts, but a corresponding move will likely be made. The Flyers are not currently over the cap ceiling because Andrej Meszaros is on the long term injured reserved, but Meszaros is gearing up for a return soon. When the Flyers stop receiving LTIR relief, a roster move must be made. Among others, Tye McGinn could be involved, as the 22 year old has played sparingly as of late.

But as Philadelphia awaits for the next domino to fall, the city is abuzz with excitement as they wait to welcome home an adopted son with open arms.

As the junior and hockey college seasons are coming down the final stretch, many Philadelphia Flyers prospects are trying to making a lasting impact on their 2012-13 season.

In relief for starting goalie Jake Patterson, Anthony Stolarz had an impressive showing for the London Knights. After Patterson let up two goals in just 5:12 action, Knights head coach Dale Hunter called upon Stolarz to finish the game. Despite stopping 29 of 31 shots, his efforts were in vain as the Erie Otters topped the Knights 4-3. But as Patterson continues to struggle, the 19 year old Stolarz is now getting plenty of opportunity to shine. He stepped on the ice for Sunday night’s game, and stopped 40 of 41 shots, helping the Night cruise past the Niagara IceDogs 5-1.

It’s been a fantastic week for the Portland Winterhawks‘ Taylor Leier, whose offensive contributions have helped the Winterhawks claim the top spot in the WHL’s Western Conference. In an 8-3 win Monday night over the Vancouver Giants, Leier’s ability to put the puck on the net allowed teammate Chase De Leo to cash in on a rebound goal. Friday’s game against the Tri-City Americans resulted in a 6-2 loss, but the Flyers 4th round pick in 2012 was a part of both of his team’s goals. He was able to jumpstart a three on two opportunity by sending a cross ice pass to De Leo, who proceeded set up Oliver Bjorkstrand for the first goal of the evening. And despite being down 6-1, Leier’s line was still buzzing. After drawing some pressure along the boards, he was able to send a pass to none other then an all alone Chase De Leo, who netted an easy goal. And on Saturday night, he was able to cap off his week with a second period goal to help lift Portland over Vancouver once again by a final of 4-3. Leier stepped in front of a Bjorkstrand shot from the point, and redirect it past Giants goalie Jared Rathjen. Over the course of three game, Leier had 1 goal, 2 assists, and a goal differential of +5. He now has a total of 45 points on the year in just 52 games.

Another day, another point for Scott Laughton and Colin Suellentrop, as the two Flyers prospects have the Oshawa Generals sitting comfortably in the third position in the OHL‘s Eastern Conference. The pair brought their A game on the front end of a back to back, as Oshawa rolled past the Saginaw Spirit 6-4. Suellentrop’s goal would come towards the end of the first period, as he blasted a shot from the point past Jake Paterson to put the Generals up 2-1. The 18 year-old Laughton had his first career OHL hat trick, even scoring two goals in less than a minute’s span in the second period. On Saturday night, Laughton would be a part of both of his team’s goals as they dropped a game on the road to the Sarnia Sting, despite outshooting them 42-19. He would be credited with an assist as an errant shot bounced off the boards and right onto the stick of Bradley Latour, who deposited an easy goal. On a breakaway opportunity, Laugthon was able to draw a penalty shot and made the most of his opportunity, getting goalie JP Anderson to bite on a head fake before netting a beautiful backhander. That goal would be his 21st on the season, already tying his total from last year in 25 less games. Suellentrop’s goal on Friday would bring his total to 5 on the season, to go with 18 assists.

The OHL’s leading point getter Nick Cousins had arguably the best week of any Flyers prospect, but that should come as no surprise. Cousins dished out a remarkable 4 assists in a 8-0 victory, as the Soo Greyhounds pounded Sarnia at home. But on Saturday, his 5 points would help lift Soo over the Kingston Frontenacs in a game that rivaled a football score. Cousins ability to frontman a 3 on 2 rush would pay dividends, as his assist to Brandon Alderson would put the Greyhounds on the score board. His second assist would be his best play of the night; Cousins would wiggle through two defensemen before sending a nifty backhand pass to Colin Miller for the short handed goal. He would add two goals in the second to give his team the advantage, and his secondary assist late in the third would ice a 10-7 for the Greyhounds. Cousins would improve his point total to 93, 6 points clear of anybody else in the Ontario Hockey League. The Greyhounds currently sit in seventh in the Western Conference, and they are very likely playoff bound.

It was a miserable week for the Trenton Titans, the ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, who were forced to play in a grueling back to back to back. They would take Thursday’s contest against the Kalamazoo Wings by a final of 4-3, bolstered by two goals from Bryan Haczyk. But Friday and Saturday would bring a less positive result, as the team lost both of its games on the road to the Cincinnati Cyclones. Andy Bohmbach would supply Friday’s only goal, while Jacob Drewskie and Kory Nagy would account for one goal a piece on Saturday. Bohmbach’s 20th goal would give him a total of 40 points on the season, good for first overall on Trenton.
